Gretchen Williams
Gretchen Williams holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Accompanying from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. While at Salem she studied with the renowned performer and expert in injury-preventive technique, Barbara Lister-Sink, and was the recipient of the Christian Gregor Music Scholarship as well as the President's Prize in Music. She has been teaching piano to students from age 5 to 75 for over 15 years, including community music schools in Winston-Salem, NC and Boston, MA. Gretchen has been a member of worship bands at churches for over 12 years and is a freelance accompanist in the Orlando area. Her "day job" is a school counselor at a local high school where she enjoys using the arts as a therapeutic tool.
